One quiet morning in 2011 at a corner table in Norma's Cafe' on Century Blvd, in Inglewood California, SIBA, the Small Inglewood Business Association was born.

The Founders of SIBA were six people with small businesses in the City of Champions. While their businesses were as diverse as their ethnic backgrounds, they all realized how much more effective they could be in managing their businesses if they joined forces and worked together, shared their knowledge, skill-sets, contacts, and resources.

Joseph Soto, owner of Maestro Business Services Center on Hyde Park, was chosen to head up this fledgling community organization.

As Soto introduced the SIBA concept to his fellow Inglewood business owners he was pleasantly surprised to see how well it was received.

He quickly established a SIBA Central office in the Hyde Park area and one SIBA Center in each of the four Inglewood Council Districts.
